摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus for purchase and delivery of entitlement in an IPTV broadcast system according to an embodiment of the present invention that includes: an entitlement purchase environment provider providing a charged broadcast contents list to the purchaser so that the purchaser can select delivery target contents and providing an IPTV broadcasting service subscriber list to the purchaser so that the purchaser can select one or more entitlement delivery target subscribers to which the entitlement for the delivery target contents is delivered; an entitlement generator receiving information on the delivery target contents from the entitlement purchase environment provider, and then generating the entitlement for corresponding broadcast contents; and an entitlement transmitter delivering the entitlement for the delivery target contents to IPTV settop boxes of the entitlement delivery target subscribers on the basis of information on the entitlement delivery target subscribers.

The peer-to-peer service method include advertising E-mail address information and service and sharing resource information through a peer-to-peer network at peers, determining whether a peer requesting a service and a peer providing the service are in online state or in offline state on the peer-to-peer network, and providing a peer-to-peer service through an E-mail server when the peer requesting the service or the peer providing the service is in offline state. The peer-to-peer service system and method using an E-mail service are capable of providing a variety of P2P services (e.g., a message exchange, a file exchange, a remote control, etc.) to peers, which are in online state or temporarily in offline state, by using the E-mail in the P2P network environment which manages the connection information of the peers joined to the corresponding service or the indexes of the sharing resources.

摘要： An extended home service apparatus and a method of provided an extended home service capable of easily developing an application service based on a peer-to-peer (P2P) network are provided. The extended home service apparatus for providing an extended home service to a user in a P2P network in which a plurality of peer terminals provided with the extended home service apparatuses are connected to each other via a virtual home network, the extended home service apparatus comprising: a middleware which manages a protocol for communication with other peer terminals and providing the extended home service on the P2P network; a peer/peer group management service module which manages information on the peers and information on peer groups by using the protocol managed by the middleware and communicates with other peer terminals activated on the P2P network; a basic service module which generates and manages information on services which are to be provided to the user; and an application service module which provides an interface to the user and the other peer terminals by using the protocol managed by the middleware, calls a service requested by the user from the basic service module, and provides the service to the user. Accordingly, users can be rapidly provided with various contents and services anytime, anywhere via a virtual home network.
