    摘要: An optical fiber splicer for splicing a plurality of first optical fibers arranged in spaced relationship with each other and a plurality of second optical fibers arranged in opposed relationship with the first optical fibers. The optical fiber splicer includes an XY table movable in XY directions orthogonal to each other, a tray mounted on the XY table, and first and second clamps for respectively clamping a selected one of the first optical fibers and a selected one of the second optical fibers to be spliced to the selected first optical fiber. The optical fiber splicer further includes first and second electrodes extending vertically and aligned with each other, first and second cameras located so as to interpose the first electrode, and an image processing unit for processing images picked up by the first and second cameras.

The method includes providing the optical connector, a connector housing, a stop-ring structure, and an optical fiber; fusion-splicing a fiber end of the optical fiber of the optical connector and a fiber end of an optical fiber protruding from a cord end of an optical fiber cord; enclosing the cord end of the optical fiber cord and at least the stop-ring structure end. The sleeve includes an annular sleeve body, a hot melt resin layer applied to an inner surface of the sleeve body, a tensile-strength body embedded in the sleeve body or the hot melt resin layer. The sleeve is heated such that the hot melt resin layer is melted into molten resin which in turn fills the inner space of the sleeve and solidifies therein.

    摘要: An optical fiber fixing system includes a clamp base and a clamp member. The clamp base has a V-groove on a top surface thereof. The depth of the V-groove is configured such that a ridgeline of an optical fiber projects beyond the top surface of the base when the optical fiber is mounted therein. The clamp member has a protrusion on a bottom surface thereof. The protrusion depresses, from the upside, the optical fiber mounted in the V-groove of the clamp base. Further, the protrusion is configured to extend substantially perpendicularly to the axial direction of the optical fiber.

    摘要: A loader picks up a workpiece from a container, and delivers it to a workstation downstream. An unloader receives the workpiece from the workstation upstream and puts it into a container. In the loader and the unloader respectively, a first stacker and a second stacker, for holding containers in stacked manner, are placed in parallel along direction Y. A table working as a container moving mechanism moves an extracted container along direction Y. A first container transfer mechanism extracts a container from the containers stacked in the first stacker and delivers it to the container moving mechanism.
