摘要:
Performance of automated touch data injection into a stack of software objects is provided. Previously stored data from a touch data file is received and transformed based upon a touch property. The transformed retrieved data is then injected into a lowermost layer of a stack of software objects. A computer-readable medium tool allows a user, such as a software developer, to create data that can consistently be employed to simulate the operation of movement of a user's finger across a touch input area. A buffer management module retrieves data from a touch data file. A data transformation module transforms the retrieved data based upon a touch property. A device management module injects transformed retrieved data into a human interface layer of a device.

A system for enabling a tablet input object is described. A tablet input object can take various inputs from touch, a mouse, and a pen and send their information to an application.

Embodiments relate to a computing device having storage, a processor, a display, a first human input device, and a second human input device, where the first human input device is in a first category of human input devices and the second human input device is in a second category of human input devices. The computing device may perform a process involving executing a windowing environment that manages windows of applications executing on the computing device. The windowing environment may receive raw inputs from the first and second human input devices and in turn generate input pointers for the raw inputs, respectively. The input pointers may be or include instances of an input pointer class implemented by the windowing environment, the pointer class used by the windowing environment for arbitrary different types of human input pointer devices including the first human input device and the second human input device.

Performance of automated testing and diagnosis of software associated with a digitizer is provided. Testing involves receiving a request packet from a driver of a digitizer. The request packet may be stored in a queue of a virtual driver associated with the driver of the digitizer. A data file configured for the driver of the digitizer is detected and used by the virtual driver. Data responsive to the request packet is sent to the driver of the digitizer upon determining that the data file has been detected, and the responsive data is subsequently processed for testing or diagnostic purposes by the driver for the digitizer as well as system and application software layers above the driver.
