In the oil coating roller having a topmost exterior layer composed of a silicone rubber layer, the silicone rubber layer contains 0 to 0.5 part by weight of an inorganic filler having a predetermined average particle diameter to 100 parts by weight of a silicone rubber, and the tensile strength of the silicone rubber layer is 1.0 MPa or more. In addition, the surface roughness (Rz) of the silicone rubber layer is 0.5 to 20 &mgr;m.
