摘要： A precise, quick mark showing a surgical operation site is allowed to put on a marking target irrespective of the skin or a surgical drape attached onto the skin in surgical operation. An ink for a surgical marker is made of isopropyl alcohol as a solvent, polyvinyl pyrrolidone involved in film formation, and methylrosanilinium chloride as a pigment, and, in particular, the content of the polyvinyl pyrrolidone is set to be greater than or equal to 2% but smaller than or equal to 12%. The composition described above allows the ink to be smoothly discharged and a film containing the pigment to be quickly formed and adhered as the ink dries. A mark can therefore be put in a precise, quick manner irrespective of a marking target, the skin or a surgical drape attached onto the skin.

摘要： A writing implement has a casing, an inner tube adapted to contain pieces of leads and being movable axially within the casing, and a chuck mechanism including jaws connected to the inner tube and adapted normally to hold a piece of lead against retraction. The casing comprises a pair of sleeve members connected together by coupling means so that one of the sleeve members is angularly displaced with respect to the other when a force is exerted to the casing generally transversely of the axis thereof. The inner tube carries a ball in rolling contact with a conical cam surface formed in one of the sleeve members remote from the writing end. When the casing is bent, the cam surface forces the ball and the inner tube toward the writing end so that the lead is projected out of the writing end.
