Abstract:
A method for providing load balance to a wireless network system is disclosed, wherein a network management server (NMS) is used to group a plurality of access points into a plurality of groups. Each of the access points is pre-set with a plurality of water level values corresponding to an acceptable load thereof, and each of the water level values is pre-set with a corresponding trap up value. Only when the real-time load of one of the access points is up to the trap up value thereof, the access point actively sends a signal of a corresponding load status thereof to the NMS. Meanwhile, the NMS checks the water level values of the other access points belonged to the same group of the access point. If all of the water level values of the other access points belonged to the same group of the access point are not less than the water level value of the access point, the water level value of the access point which has the real-time load up to the trap up value thereof is upgraded once so as to allow the access point to keep a higher acceptable load. Thus, it is unnecessary for each of the access points to continuously broadcast its corresponding load status so as to prevent from occupying the bandwidth thereof and thus to improve the overall efficiency of the wireless network system.
Abstract:
A method for preventing unauthorized connection in a network system mainly includes adding an authentication key in the LLDP (link layer discovery protocol) transmitted in accordance with the 802.1ab communication protocol so as to proceed with security mechanism under the structure of 802.1ab communication protocol. The method for preventing unauthorized connection includes receiving a LLDP packet satisfying the 802.1ab communication protocol transmitted from a second network device by a first network device in a network system; analyzing the LLDP packet and checking whether the LLDP packet contains a legitimate authentication key; and if the authentication key does not exist or is illegitimate, then block all packets transmitted from the second network device so as to prevent the unauthorized second network device from using the network transmission service provided by the first network device.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for intelligent automatic reconfiguration of a network system basically implements an automatic reconfiguration apparatus to acquire the configuration of every network device and generates a topology of the network devices. Afterward, the automatic reconfiguration apparatus can detect the status of the network devices. When some network device is replaced by a new network device due to a breakdown or other factors, the automatic reconfiguration apparatus can detect the changed status and check the hardware version as well as the corresponding location in the topology of the former network device. If the e hardware version of the new network device is identical to the hardware version of the corresponding former network device in the topology, the disclosed apparatus can automatically load the stored prime configuration into the new network device for performing automatic configuration to the network device.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for controlling in realtime fashion multimedia contents on a second screen at a TX side from a first screen at a RX side. The method comprising: detecting at least one touch signal via the first screen, and converting the at least one touch signal into touch data associated with a first position information defining a virtual operation on the first screen corresponding to an actual operation on the second screen, the first position information being with respect to a first coordinate system of the first screen; transmitting the touch data of the RX side to the TX side via the network communication, and calculating at the TX side a second position information with respect to a second coordinate system of the second screen based on the first position information; and performing the actual operation at the second screen based on the second position information.
Abstract:
A method and system for dynamic backlight modulation are provided for a liquid crystal display. An image signal is analyzed to acquire an intensity and distribution. Based on the acquired intensity and distribution, a processor controls the backlight intensity of a backlight module for a liquid crystal display. A modulation unit of dynamic distribution and enhancement unit of dynamic signal dynamically modify the contrast distribution and intensity of the image signal. The system improves the drawbacks of low brightness contrast and high brightness of a black frame.
Abstract:
An automatic folding tent includes at least a plurality of main brackets, auxiliary brackets, connecting rod groups, elevation devices, and a tent cloth. After the main brackets and the auxiliary brackets are pivoted, the connecting rod groups for supporting the auxiliary brackets to unfold are disposed between the main brackets and the auxiliary brackets. The auxiliary brackets are gathered at a top block, the elevation device is disposed on a top end of the main bracket and is power-connected to the connecting rod group, and the tent cloth is wrapped on top of the main brackets and the auxiliary brackets. Accordingly, the elevation devices are controlled to synchronously operate through a remote controller, so as to actuate the main brackets to ascend and descend, and to actuate the auxiliary brackets to unfold or fold, thereby automatically operating the tent to fold and unfold.
Abstract:
A method for automatically allocating channels of a wireless network system comprises the steps of: actuating one of access points (APs) for collecting channel status information, such as channel numerals and Received Signal Strength Incident (RSSI), of the other of the access points near by that access point; calculating an accumulated RSSI value of each of the access points according to the collected channel numerals and the RSSI value via a Network Management Server (NMS); calculating the accumulated RSSI value of each of the access points by weighting to obtain a weighted RSSI value thereof; and switching an operation channel of the actuated access point into the better channel having a relatively lower weighted RSSI value for improving the overall efficiency of the wireless network system. Furthermore, the method for automatically allocating channels can be used to periodically monitor the channel status of the channel corresponding to each of the access points, so as to actively fine-adjust the channel of that access point or to change a monitor period.

Abstract:
A smart TV is adapted to establish a wireless local area network, and can use wireless local area network to be communicatively connected with one or more wireless internet device. The smart TV includes at least one tuner, a wireless network module, and a codec. Tuner is used for receiving TV signals, the wireless network module is used for transmitting wireless network signals for establishing wireless local area network, and wireless network module can discriminate between types of wireless internet device. Input end of codec is electrically coupled to tuner, and output end of codec is electrically coupled to wireless network module, in which codec performs an encoding function of the television signals according to type of wireless internet device to generate at least one encoded signal. Wireless network module receives encode signals transmitted from tuner, and transmits encoded signal to the wireless internet device.
