摘要: The present invention provides polymer composites reinforced with high aspect ratio reinforcing fillers selected from calcium phosphate nanofibers, nanoplates, submicron fibers, submicron plates, and combinations thereof. The mechanical and biological properties of the inventive composites are enhanced significantly over current polymer composites and may be employed in various biomedical applications, such as dental restorations.
