    摘要: A method and apparatus for accurately determining the interior profile of cylindrical objects such as reformer catalyst tubes is described. The radius of the tube is measured from the axis of the tube for each point of the interior surface by calculating the angle of a reflected light beam and the deviation thereof. A first embodiment reflects an light beam off of the interior surface of the cylinder and measures the angle of the light reflected from the interior of the cylinder. A second embodiment removes rotating parts by using a cone mirror to reflect a ring of light onto the interior of the cylinder. Signal processing means are provided to reduce surplus signals allowing transmission of only useful information.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to accelerator type crash simulation test systems. These systems provide repeatable and reliable simulation of vehicle frontal impact crash events. The crash simulation test systems are capable of simulating motion in the form of rotation about a vertical Z-axis and/or translation in a direction perpendicular to the motion of the ServoSled. The combination of these motions is generally known as yaw. Yaw motion is of particular interest in frontal crash events in which the center of impact is offset from the center of the vehicle. The yaw motion can be achieved, for example, in several embodiments by the use of off-board actuators that supply yawing motions to an onboard platform.

    摘要: The attachment system includes a brushhead assembly having a spring/carrier combination which comprises a spring assembly and a separate carrier assembly, adapted to mate as a combination with a receiving portion, in the form of a cup member, at the top of the handle of the toothbrush. The spring/carrier combination includes a slot which mates snugly with a vertical rib on the inside surface of the cup member, and further includes a portion which opposes the slot on the spring/carrier combination which mates snugly with a cut-out portion in the cup member, to prevent rotational movement of the brushhead relative to the handle. The spring/carrier assembly further includes two opposing spring finger elements which extend downwardly from an upper edge of the spring/carrier assembly and are joined thereto such that the lower ends of the spring fingers have a slightly outward springing action, wherein the lower ends of the spring fingers fit into corresponding openings in opposing sides of the cup member when the spring/carrier assembly is operatively positioned in the cup member, tending to prevent translational movement of the brushhead relative to the handle.
