摘要： A rail post vertical extension systems for a deck, patio boundary or fence rail posts to alter the appearance of the posts by suspending plants in a decorative and structurally sturdy manner. Rail post vertical extension system may have a base support end, a rod, and at least one arm receiver. The base support end may include a male insert that may be removably inserted into the female receiver of a rail post, and a flange end to aid in retaining the base support end into the rail post. A rod is attached to the base support end and has a length that is structured and arranged to support the attachment of at least one arm receiver.

The elongated insert member also comprises a plurality of resilient retention arms configured to extend toward and pressingly engage with sidewalls of the post chamber.
