The method also includes configuring or permitting the configuration of the printing system after the initial image has been validated or the marking of the first overlay image on the initial image has been verified. A printing system that is capable of being configured using the document key is also included.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a method of modifying a user interface on a display relative to a user, comprising: detecting a position of a user's eyes relative to a user interface (UI) viewing surface, wherein the detecting includes sensors selected from the group consisting of proximity sensors, web cams, and face recognition scanners; wherein the detecting further includes detecting the position of the user's eyes relative to the user interface; adjusting the UI's viewing surface for altered viewing based on the position of the user's eyes; and, wherein the adjusting comprises a software algorithm for switching on and off semi-transparent pixels in the UI viewing surface for viewing the UI by the user at a viewing angle from about 20 degrees to about 90 degrees.

    摘要: A roll useful in fusing marking material to a print sheet includes a coating disposed on at least a portion of the inner surface thereof. A lamp disposed inside the roll supplies radiant energy to the inner surface. The coating changes its absorptivity (such as color) as desired, to obtain specific desired temperatures at different portions of the roll. The coating can be thermochromic, changing its absorptivity in response to local temperature; or electrochromic, changing its absorptivity in response to an external electrical stimulus.
