Abstract: A manufacturing method of a circuitry including a planar diode that can improve manufacturing precision of a connection between the planar diode and a circuit element connected to an electrode of the planar diode is provided. The manufacturing method of the circuitry including the planar diode includes: forming an insulating layer having a first pattern shape on a substrate; and monolithically forming a functional material layer having a second pattern shape complementary to the first pattern shape on the substrate. The functional material layer includes a material that functions as a planar diode having a rectifying property based on a shape and a size. The second pattern shape has a shape of a circuitry including the planar diode, a first circuit element connected to a first electrode of the planar diode, and a second circuit element connected to a second electrode of the planar diode.

Abstract: A power transmission apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a control unit that controls a power transmitting unit that performs wireless power transmission. The control unit causes the power transmitting unit to radiate a power transmission beam for supplying electrical power to a target power reception apparatus in accordance with a control parameter related to a radiation direction and a beam shape of the beam. The control unit refers to a position of an edge in an image obtained by photographing a periphery of the target power reception apparatus and monitoring entry of a biological body or an object with respect to a no-entry region that is created in a periphery of a path of the beam. The control unit stops radiation of the beam when entry of a biological body or an object with respect to the no-entry region is detected.

Abstract: A microstrip antenna corresponds to a rectangular resonator. The resonator has first and second sides being parallel to a first direction and having a length corresponding to 3/2 wavelength, and has a shape notched from each of the first and second sides toward a center of the resonator. The antenna includes: a first portion constituting a periphery of the notched shape; and second and third portions facing each other across the first portion. The notched shape allows the first portion to contribute to a radiation characteristic. The first, second, and third portions each have a length corresponding to ½ wavelength in the first direction. The first portion has a width in the second direction that is narrower because of the notched shape than that of the second and third portions. The second or third portion is provided with a feeding point.

Abstract: A power transmission apparatus includes a controller that controls a power transmitter that performs wireless power transmission. The controller is configured to: cause the processor to: cause the power transmitter to emit a first power transmission beam for which a first power is set; acquire feedback information on a result of reception of the first power transmission beam in a power reception apparatus; identify a power receiving capability in the power reception apparatus; and determine, with reference to the power receiving capability and the reception result, a second power which is usable in wireless power supply for the power reception apparatus and which is larger than the first power. The power receiving capability includes a maximum value of an input power range of the power reception apparatus. The wireless power transmission uses an electromagnetic wave having a frequency equal to or higher than that of a microwave.
