摘要： Substituted arylindazoles of the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is CR.sup.14 and R.sup.14 is hydrogen, halogen, haloalkyl, cyano, nitro, alkylthio, alkylsulfonyl, alkylsulfinyl or alkoxy; and substituents R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 are as defined in the specification. Use of the compounds as herbicides and methods of making the compounds are also described.
