Abstract: Describes a method for lowering the flow of liquid anolyte through perforations in the diaphragm of a diaphragm electrolytic cell, e.g., a chlor-alkali diaphragm electrolytic cell, comprising introducing ceramic fiber into the anolyte compartment of the electrolytic cell, e.g., during cell operation. The benefits described for lowering the flow of anolyte liquor through the diaphragm of a chlor-alkali diaphragm electrolytic cell are increasing the concentration of alkali metal hydroxide, e.g., sodium hydroxide, and decreasing the concentration of hypochlorite ion, e.g., sodium hypochlorite, in the catholyte liquor. Also describes introducing dopant material and/or fibers comprising halogen-containing polymer, e.g., fluorocarbon polymer fibers, into the anolyte compartment of the electrolytic cell in conjunction with the addition of ceramic fiber into the anolyte compartment, e.g., during cell operation.

Abstract: A dog harness is comprised of a torso strap encircling a dogs chest, connected to a chest strap passing around the chest of a dog, and a shoulder strap passing over the back of a dog. The chest strap is provided with a elongate linker. A leash connector is fixed to both ends of the elongate linker. When a leash is attached to either leash connector, a directional pull on the leash causes the leash connector to slide in the direction of the pull, pulling the elongate linker to the side creating a noise detectable by the animal to assist in the training of the animal. If the leash becomes tight pulling the elongate linker all the way to the side it will move the pull off the center of the dog's chest, thus decreasing the opposition reflex.

Abstract: In configuring data synchronization between two devices, the first device generates a user configuration interface to be presented on the second device. The user interface elicits information from a user regarding a personal information manager (PIM) that is installed on the second device. This information is transmitted to the first device, which downloads to the second device a synchronization application package based on the PIM.
