    摘要： A wear assembly such as an adapter for a cable shovel having a Whisler-style lip has two legs extending over the lip, and a hole in the legs arranged to align with a hole in the lip. A locking member is inserted in the hole, and hooked around a pivot surface in the lower leg. An actuator is inserted into the hole in the upper leg, and engages with t top end of the locking member. Movement of the actuator causes pivoting of the locking member, and results in the locking member bearing against the lip hole in order to lock the wear assembly in position.

    摘要： A locking assembly for locking a ground engaging tool such as a shroud to a bucket lip. The bucket lip has a C-shaped boss fixed thereto. The ground engaging tool has a recess to receive a lock, the recess having an opening which is shorter in axial length than the recess. The lock is arranged to pivot about the boss as the ground engaging tool is slid rearwardly relative to the bucket lip. When the lock is located entirely within the recess, it can be accessed through a rear tunnel and tightened to hold the assembly in place.

    摘要： A method of locking a lip shroud to a cable shovel includes the use of a lock having a locating portion and an activating portion. The locating portion is arranged to be positioned within an aperture of the lip. The activating portion has varying effective length, and is arranged to be tightened such that it locks between a bearing surface of the lip and bearing surface of the lip shroud. In this way the lip shroud is locked to the lip of the cable shovel bucket.
