摘要： A multi-disk player system comprising a housing, a playing mechanism provided within the housing, a magazine that is capable of accommodating a plurality of disks in an orderly manner and which is provided detachably with respect to the housing, a magazine loading detector for detecting the loading of said magazine within the housing, and a disk pickup and transport device that selects a desired disk from the magazine and transports the same to the play position. The magazine loading detector is comprised of a pair of push levers that are positioned in the deepest magazine loading area and are in engagement with the magazine, a pair of sensor switches capable of engaging with the push levers. The push levers are spaced apart from each other by the distance corresponding to the thick portion of the magazine. The system may include a disk container comprising a plurality of trays on which disks are to be placed, and the magazine for accommodating the trays. The magazine is provided with partitions that limit the vertical position of the trays. The height of the underside of each partition is set at a value equal to that of the top of the disk placed on the tray below each partition.

The carriage supporting an optical pickup is driven by a half nut provided on the carriage and a worm screwed to the half nut with the half nut movable within a plane containing the respective axes of the guiding members and the worm, relative to the carriage.

The first member is driven out of said loader when the second member is moved relative to the first member such that the sum of the quantity of the protrusion of the first member from the loader and that of the movement of the second member relative to the first member is slightly greater than the outer diameter of the disk.

摘要： A CD player has a magazine containing a plurality of trays, and a single tray. The magazine is provided to be loaded by hand, and the single tray is slidably mounted in the casing between a playback position and an ejected position. A lock device is provided for locking the magazine at a loading position. A disc cam is provided for operating the lock device and the single tray. A pin is mounted on the disc cam and operatively connected to the single tray so as to move the single tray between the playback position and the ejected position in rotating range of the cam. The cam is provided to be operatively connected to the lock device. The cam is arranged to operate the lock device so as to release the magazine when the cam is rotated in a range outside the rotating range.

The pickup, spindle, spindle motor, and disk clamper of the player are mounted on a rotary frame. To change from playing one side of the disk to the other, the disk is conveyed out of the player, the rotary frame is rotated through 180 degrees, and the disk conveyed back into the player. The disk is then again clamped against the spindle and played.
