摘要： A customizable service provider user interface is described. In an implementation, a user is logged onto a suite a web services, to which, the user has not previously logged on. A user interface is output having a plurality of portions, one or more of which are customizable by the user through use of one or more overlays to customize interaction with the suite of web services.

摘要： Attachment browser is described. In an embodiment, an attachment browser displays a selection of communications received from multiple sources where each of the communications has an attachment. A representative image of each attachment is organized for display according to an attribute of the respective attachment, and a portion of each communication is displayed proximate an associated representative image to maintain the association of a communication and a respective attachment.

摘要： The techniques and technologies described herein enable real-time user identity information to be maintained by a network server architecture such that the user identity information can be provided across multiple client devices and/or across multiple collaborative applications supported by the client devices. The client devices and the collaborative applications can be designed to receive and process the network-based user identity information for presentation in a consistent display format regardless of the client device type and in the context of different collaborative applications.

摘要： Described is a technology in which a platform unifies various social network and alerting mechanisms to provide a relationship-based communication network. An affiliation service allows organizations and individuals to connect, grant permissions and share useful information about themselves in the form of relationship-based and other attributes. A publishing service routes that information to the correct recipients, including by matching desired attributes to attributes of clients recipients. A data exchange service facilitates reporting, routing, monitoring and responding to such information, as well as providing relevant external data feeds to clients. In this manner, users and organizations are able to more easily connect and work together to resolve societal problems via a single platform that facilitates user and organizational participation.
