    摘要: A stroke sensor has two magnets, which are magnetized in a cross-section direction and are displaced in a longitudinal direction, and two magnetism sensitive sections arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction. The magnets have circular-arc-shaped swelling end edges respectively and are magnetized such that the swelling end edges have opposite polarities. Thus, a distribution of a magnetic flux density on an arrangement axis substantially coincides with a sine curve. The magnetic flux having such the distribution is displaced in the longitudinal direction together with the magnets. The magnetism sensitive sections are arranged on the arrangement axis to be distant from each other by a distance of one fourth of a cycle of the sine curve. Thus, the stroke sensor that is not affected by temperature and that has high sensing accuracy can be provided.

    摘要: A position sensor includes a longitudinally extending permanent magnet member at least two longitudinally extending arc-shaped projecting elements respectively projecting from the opposite ends toward the inside space to confront each other at a distance and a pair of compatible main magnetic sensors disposed in the inside space along the longitudinal axis at an interval so as to generate a pair of output signals when the permanent magnet member shifts along the longitudinal axis. The opposite ends of the permanent magnet member are configured to surround a common inside space and polarized to have opposite magnetic poles so as to provide in the inside space a magnetic field whose magnetic flux density becomes a maximum at a longitudinal center of the inside space and gradually becomes smaller as a position of the inside space shifts from the longitudinal center along a longitudinal axis of the permanent magnet members. The arc-shaped projecting elements are arranged so that the magnetic flux density and each of the output signals can be expressed by a cosine of a shift value from the longitudinal center, and the interval is ¼ of the cycle of the cosine.

A detection unit detects rotation of the gear according to the signal. A case accommodates the magnetism detection elements. A movement restriction unit is equipped to the case and located on the side of the gear at a place between the magnetism detection elements to restrict a magnetic foreign matter, which adheres to the case, from moving in the arrangement direction of the magnetism detection elements.

    摘要: In a range detection device, a movable member has a magnetized portion and can move with a manual valve of a control device. A supporting member includes a plate portion having a surface opposed to the magnetized portion and a recess formed in an opposite surface of the plate portion, and supports the movable member such that the movable member is capable of moving parallel with the plate portion. A substrate is placed in the recess and has a first hole that penetrates the substrate. A magnetic detection element is installed to a surface of the substrate at a side of the plate portion to correspond to a position of the first hole, and detects magnetism of the magnetized portion. A sealing member is filled in the recess and covers the substrate and the magnetic detection element.

    摘要: An electromechanical conversion device includes an electromechanical conversion unit and a cable, which has a signal wire and a ground wire for grounding the electromechanical conversion unit. The electromechanical conversion unit performs a conversion between a relative movement with respect to a magnetic field generation unit and electrical signals, based on a magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generation unit. The signal wire is connected with the electromechanical conversion unit to transfer the electrical signals, and has a first branch portion and a second branch portion which extend substantially parallel to the ground wire and are respectively arranged at two opposite sides of the ground wire. A distance between the first branch portion and the ground wire is substantially equal to that between the second branch portion and the ground wire.

    摘要: An angular position sensor including a magnetic field generator means and a magnetic sensor means. The magnetic field generator means produces a magnetic field. The magnetic sensor means has a first magnetic sensor element, a second magnetic sensor element, and a third magnetic sensor element each for providing an output signal depending on a direction of the magnetic field. One of the magnetic field generator means and the magnetic sensor means rotates in conjunction with the target object. The magnetic sensor elements are located so as to provide output signals having different phase differences by allowing the magnetic sensor means to rotate relative to the magnetic field generator means. The magnetic sensor elements are also located such that an output signal of each magnetic sensor element has a phase different from an inverted phase of an output signal of the other two magnetic sensor elements.
