    摘要: A method of discharging particulate material from a first container to a lower positioned storage area being under a lower pressure than the first container. Particulate material is discharged via an upper tube section of a discharge tube communicating with the first container and permanently containing a column of the particulate material. The discharged material is directed into a pressurized stabilizer. The discharged material is directed via a lower tube section to a material feeder for forming columns of the particulate material in the upper and lower tube sections thereby reducing the pressure of the material to a predetermined normal pressure level at the input of the feeder. The material is fed to the storage area. The quantity of discharged material is controlled by the feeder. Gas flowing from the first container is extracted through the particulate material column to an environment via a throttle at an upper portion of the pressure stabilizer, thus stabilizing the discharge by making it independent of pressure variations in the particulate material column upstream of the pressure stabilizer. The feeder is stopped when a pressure increases in the particle column in the upper tube section resulting in a pressure increase in the pressure stabilizer until the pressure of the pressure stabilizer has returned to the normal level due to the extraction of gas.

    摘要: A power plant with combustion of a fuel in a fluidized bed is enclosed within a bed vessel. It includes one or more cleaners for separating dust from the combustion gases leaving the bed. The gas cleaner is built up as a panel or unit with a number of parallel-connected centrifugal cleaners, with a first cylindrical inlet part with guide vanes which impart a rotating movement to the gas flowing through, and a second cylindrical part sliding into the first part and together with this forming an annular gap with an outlet which communicates with a common space and/or with a separator arranged in series with the parallel separators. The panel or unit is directly connected to an outlet opening from the bed vessel and forms part of a bed vessel wall.

    摘要: A valve system for controlling the flow of hydraulic fluid for opening and closing the main control valve for a turbine system. The valve system comprises: first valve means for passing hydraulic fluid to the servo motor to maintain the control valve open during normal operating conditions of the turbine and to interrupt the supply of hydraulic fluid in response to a predetermined normal pressure drop; second valve means for draining hydraulic fluid from the servo motor to close the control valve in response to a predetermined normal pressure drop in the turbine system; and third valve means for separately draining hydraulic fluid from the servo motor to relieve the latter of pressure rapidly in response to an abnormal pressure drop in the turbine system with consequent rapid closing of the control valve.

    摘要: A hydraulic servo system for steam turbines providing rapid closing of the main valve between the turbine and the boiler to stop the operation by opening a drainage valve whereby hydraulic fluid is drained immediately from the servo motor which normally maintains the main valve in open position. Secondary valve means are actuated by the resultant pressure drop to drain hydraulic fluid from a portion of the servo system, which is throttled from the servo motor portion, after a predetermined time lapse, and to block off supply of hydraulic fluid to the system. The main valve may be reopened by closing the drainage valve and by actuating the secondary valve means to reconnect the hydraulic fluid source to the throttled portion of the system whereby pressure therein is rapidly restored to a degree sufficient to supply fluid to the servo motor.
