摘要： A screwdriver bit assembly includes a magnetic ring mounted in a front end of a sleeve hole of a sleeve. A retaining ring is made of a material more rigid than the sleeve, is mounted in the sleeve hole, and is located behind the magnetic ring. A screwdriver bit includes an insertion end, an extending section behind the insertion end, a flange section behind the extending section, and a clamping section behind the flange section. The front end of the screwdriver bit extends through the sleeve hole of the sleeve, the retaining ring, and the magnetic ring. The insertion end extends beyond the sleeve and is located in front of a front end face of the sleeve. The flange section abuts the retaining ring. The clamping section is held by a holding device mounted on the sleeve, providing a holding force towards a longitudinal axis of the sleeve hole.

The external layer has an annular ridge corresponding to the annular wall. The cover is made of rigid material and includes a covering face. When the cover is in the closed position, the rigid covering face of the cover covers the annular wall of the body, and the rigid covering face of the cover presses against and sealingly engages with the annular ridge of the body.

A rear stop ring is fixed in the receiving hole of the sleeve body and includes a side stop wall for pressing against the second positioning ball and a recessed section for partially receiving the second positioning ball. A spring is mounted between the front stop ring and the rear stop ring.

The bit seat includes a plurality of bit grooves for receiving bits. When the bit seat is in a storage position, a longitudinal axis of each bit groove is parallel to the bottom wall of the base, and the bits are received in the compartment. An abutment portion of the bit seat abuts a rib on the bottom wall when the bit seat is in an extended position. The cover and the base can be in an inverted V-shaped state and can be placed on a platform while the abutment portion of the bit seat abuts the rib under action of weights of the bits, retaining the bit seat is in the extended position.

A ball is moveably received in the radial bore and moveably received in a recess of the second section of the rod to releasably engage the sleeve with the bit. A spring is mounted in the larger section of the sleeve for biasing the sleeve towards the other end of the rod.
