Abstract:
A dishwasher includes a washing tub, a latch keeper disposed on the washing tub and mounted on a push rod, and a pivotable door configured to close the washing tub. The door includes a latching mechanism configured to engage the latch keeper in accordance with a closing of the door. An actuator is configured to move the push rod in an opening direction so as to open the door to an ajar position. A return device is configured to return the latch keeper in a direction opposite to the opening direction approximately at least to an initial position upon a further opening of the door.
Abstract:
A dishwasher includes a plurality of spray arms, a recirculation pump driven by an electric motor and a water diverter. The water diverter is disposed on a pressure side of the recirculation pump and is operable to generate flow from an inlet to at least one of a plurality of selectable outlets associated with the spray arms. The water diverter includes at least one blocking element, a drive element driven together with the electric motor of the recirculation pump and configured to move the at least one blocking element, and a transmission disposed between the blocking element and the drive element. The transmission is configured to convert a continuous movement of the drive element into a discontinuous movement of the blocking element.
Abstract:
A dishwasher includes a number of spray arms, a circulation pump with a pump housing, an impeller, a suction port, and a number of discharge ports on the pump housing. The discharge ports are associated with the spray arms. A water diverter is located on a delivery side of the pump and generates a flow leading from the suction port selectably to one or more of the discharge ports. The water diverter includes a blocking element having a number of diaphragm openings positionable to one or more outlet positions by a drive via a rotation of the blocking element in a circumferential direction.
Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner turbo-brush includes an axial-inflow impulse turbine. The turbine includes a turbine shaft non-rotatably combined with an impeller that includes aerodynamically shaped, stud-like projections uniformly distributed along a circumferential line of the impeller. The aerodynamic shape has a cross-sectional area that is parabolically bound on both sides. The turbine also includes a guide stage having guide surfaces, each of which has a cross section including, in a direction of incident flow, a circular arc followed by a straight section. A bearing housing surrounds the turbine shaft and forms at least one of a transition and the guide stage in a region of the impeller, and the bearing housing, in a region of the turbine shaft, forming a casing for the turbine shaft and including bearing elements that support the turbine shaft.

Abstract:
An automatic warewashing machine includes a washing chamber, a hinged door configured to close the washing chamber, and a force-locking latching mechanism configured to hold the door in a closed position and release the door in response to a pulling force. The force-locking latching mechanism is disposed on the washing chamber or on a body enclosing the washing chamber. A door opening system is also included and has a push-open unit configured to automatically open the door to at least an ajar position. The push-open unit includes a motor-driven push-type opening bar.

A method for operating an attachment device for a vacuum cleaner includes an electrically rotatable brush roller and a motor for driving the brush roller. The method includes rotating the brush roller in a normal operational direction during operation. The method further includes rotating the brush roller in a reverse direction opposite to the normal operational direction of rotation, when the brush roller is detected to be jammed.
Abstract:
A dishwasher includes a door, a washing tub closable by the door, and a water softener including an ion exchanger and a salt container. The salt container is disposed in an area of the door and includes a first and a second side wall, a bottom, narrow connecting walls, a water inlet and a brine outlet. Two side walls are disposed in the salt container, the dividing walls extending from the side walls to the bottom, dividing the salt container into a water distribution duct including the water inlet, a salt chamber, and a brine collecting duct including the brine outlet. The dividing walls, each including a respective screen surface in a region adjacent to the bottom, separate the water inlet and a brine outlet from each other. The screen surfaces are arranged in a v-shape relative to each other.
