    摘要: In order to overcome or at least mitigate difficulties in compensating for movement of the target, for example a tumour during radiotherapy, a dosimetry apparatus and method embodying the present invention employ a dosimeter having at least one radiation detector and at least one magnetic position sensor located a predetermined distance apart. Radiation level readings from the radiation detector and position readings from the position sensor are monitored and correlated, conveniently according to time, to obtain the position of the radiation detector when a particular radiation level was detected.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for sensing and measuring stress waves. The method comprises the steps of: a.) sensing motion, where the motion comprises a stress wave component and a vibration component; b.) separating the stress wave component from the vibration component with a high pass filter to create a signal proportional to the stress wave; c.) amplifying the signal to create an amplified signal; d.) processing the amplified signal with a sample and hold peak detector over a predetermined interval of time to determine peaks of the amplified signal over said predetermined period of time; e.) creating an output signal proportional to the determined peaks of the amplified signal; and, f.) repeating steps d.) and e.). The invention also includes an apparatus for implementing the method of the invention.

The motorized shade further includes a motor configured to provide rotational exertion to the roller shade, a controller configured to provide control signals to the motor, a power supply configured to provide power at least to one of the motor and the controller, and a transfer device configured to transfer one of the control signals to the motor that is configured to rotate and power to the controller that is configured to rotate from a stationary external source.
