    摘要: An apparatus for cone beam computed tomography of lower leg portions of a patient has a radiation source and a source transport actuable to move the source along an arcuate source path within a housing, from one side of a circumferential gap to the other and has a radius R2 about a center. A housing is provided for placement of the patient's foot. A digital radiation detector has a detector transport actuable to move the detector along an arcuate detector path within the housing, the detector path having a radius R1 about the center and concentric with the source path, wherein R1 is less than R2, and wherein the detector path extends from one side of the pedestal indent to the other. A gap closure apparatus is movable to a position that continues the detector path across the circumferential gap and encloses the detector path.

    摘要: A stool upholstered with a protective stool cover, and related objects are shown. The cover comprises a seat encapsulating, cover material, the lower edge of which is attached to a seat pan covering, shaped wall profile which protects against inadvertant, cover material damaging impact against the seat pan. The profile also eliminates the discernment of outlines of the edge of the interface between the seat pan and the cushioning material through the covering material. The profile includes a flange section adapted for attachment to the lower side of the seat pan, which extends at substantially right angles from one end of the seat pan edge covering collar section, as well as a seam section adapted for sewn attachment to the covering material. The seam section is offset and extends from the other end of the collar section, parallel and adjacent to a line of extension therefrom.

    摘要: Disclosed is a seat cushion constructed of cellular elastic material wherein its design provides more uniform distribution of supportive forces exerted by the cushion over a larger area of the anatomical portions of a person seated thereon for minimizing squeezing and restriction of arteries and nerves located in the anatomical portions of a person seated on the cushion. The cellular elastic material of the seat cushion is divided into segments having different moduli of elasticity. The modulus of elasticity of each segment is inversely proportional to the pressure exerted on such segment by the anatomical portion of a person seated on the cushion. Also disclosed is a back cushion of similar design.
