摘要： A percussion instrument includes a drum head arranged on a support with a flange of the drum head extending from the support, wherein the support is an inner ring, and an outer ring comprising an abutment that is configured to engage the flange of the drum head. The inner ring and the outer ring are concentrically arranged and moveable relative to each other in a longitudinal direction. The percussion instrument also includes a tensioning mechanism having an external screw thread going around on an outer circumference of the inner ring, and an internal screw thread going around on an inner circumference of the outer ring.
