    摘要: A holding member is provided in a gap between a plurality of elements of a unit in a non-usage state to maintain a relative position between the plurality of elements, and is removed from the gap to put the unit into a usage state. The holding member includes an attaching portion, a filament, a panel, and a block. The attaching portion is inserted in the gap between the plurality of elements. The attaching portion includes a first parallel portion, a second parallel portion, and a connecting portion to connect one end of the first parallel portion with one end of the second parallel portion. One end of the filament is attached to the attaching portion. The panel is attached to another end of the filament. The block connects another end of the first parallel portion with another end of the second parallel portion.

    摘要: A rotary developing apparatus having a plurality of developing devices mounted along the outer periphery of a cylindrical rotary unit. A first gear train for connecting the rotary unit to a drive source to rotate the rotary unit. A second gear train for connecting a developing roller of a developing device revolved and stopped at a developing position, as a result of the rotary unit being rotationally driven, to the drive source to rotate the developing roller. The rotary unit and the developing roller are rotated with the same motor used as the drive source by switching between the connections of the gear trains, thereby rapidly damping vibration generated by the rotation of the rotary unit and vibration generated by the rotation of the developing roller, and thus eliminating image defects due to displacement, etc.

The image processing device includes a storage device, an image interface device and a color space converter. The storage device stores bit map image data to which the code image data is expanded by an expansion device. The image interface device generates a signal indicating an attribute of a color space representing the bit map image data stored in the storage device for each pixel. The color space converter converts the image data from an image data color space to a color space that is dependent on the image formation device being used. The image data includes an image data color space attribute that identifies the color space based on the type of device that generates the image data.

    摘要: An emergency robot shutdown circuit reliably stops a movable component of a robot which has suffered an overtravel condition. The emergency robot shutdown circuit has three relays, and detects an overtravel condition of the robot with a dog located in a limit position of a normal operation range of the movable component of the robot to command an emergency shutdown of the robot. The second relay holds an overtravel signal which is outputted from a detecting circuit. A switching transistor is connected parallel to a make contact of the second relay, and an overtravel cancel switch is connected parallel to another make contact of the second relay. The base of the switching transistor is supplied with an overtravel unlatching pulse in synchronism with the closing of the overtravel cancel switch. The third relay, which is connected in series with the other make contact of the second relay, has three make contacts which make up a power cutoff circuit. These three make contacts are turned off only when the third relay is de-energized.
