Abstract:
An electronic incentive spirometer has a base and a sensing device. The base is provided with a breathing tube and at least one vertical tube. A floating ball is disposed in the vertical tube, one end of the vertical tube connected to the breathing tube. The sensing device is disposed on the vertical tube of the base, has a sensing unit corresponding with the vertical tube and a control circuit, and the sensing unit is electrically connected to the control circuit.
Abstract:
A system and method of inventorying and managing users and their computer workstations in large organizations through automation. Data is organized in two distinctive ways into two computer database directories to allow for compatibility with other key organization databases and different approaches of locating and accounting for users and their computer objects. One directory that is based on organizational structure can be synchronized with the Human Resources (HR) database to determine people movement or job changes. The other directory that is based on physical location of computer workstations can be synchronized with network subnet databases to determine any Internet Protocol address changes. Automatic updating after synchronization in either directory keeps the data as current and accurate as possible. Organizational policy based on an organization's requirements can be applied and enforced when incorporated into the synchronization process. Exception handling allows for maximum flexibility.
Abstract:
A shared directory management system includes a storage module, a first cluster server, a second cluster server, and a management module. In the normal mode, the first cluster server controls the storage module, the management module examines the storage module using a monitor method, and if the storage module was processed by an update action, the management module stores update setting information corresponding to the update action into a database. If failure occurs, the second clustered server controls the storage module, the management module returns the storage module according to the update setting information stored in the database, and switches back to the normal mode.
