Abstract:
A ribbon cassette capable of maintaining a position of one of its spools includes a shell, two spools, and two fasteners. Each of the fasteners is disposed at one side of one of the two spools for fastening the position of the spool. Therefore the spool is not able to rotate. Accordingly, the ribbon cassette is capable of preventing the spool from unexpected rotation during transportation. Therefore the ribbon is prevented from being driven by the spool. Hence the problem that the ribbon is slackened or is driven to protrude outside the ribbon cassette is solved.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a printing device. The printing device of the present invention may include a communication element capable of communicating with an external host utilizing a plurality of telecommunication network technologies to receive a file sent from the external host to the device, a printing element electrically coupled to the communication element to output an image file, and an audio outputting element electrically coupled to the communication element to output an audio file, wherein the communication element identifies a file type of the file received from the external host and selectively sends the file to the printing element or the audio outputting element.
Abstract:
A ribbon cassette capable of maintaining ribbon position includes a shell, two spools, and two guides. The two spools are each rotatably disposed above the shell for transporting the ribbon. The two guides are each disposed at one side of one of the two spools for maintaining the position of the ribbon. The ribbon cassette of the present invention is capable of avoiding shift of the ribbon on the spools in a transportation process of the thermal transfer printer or the ribbon cassette itself. Hence the problem of wrinkles due to such shift is reduced.
Abstract:
A self-positioning guard of a printer includes a cover for blocking an access opening of the printer and a positioning apparatus coupled to the cover for controlling movement of the cover. The cover has a plate for blocking the access opening and a hinge coupled to the plate for allowing the plate to pivot away from the access opening. The positioning apparatus has a motor for supplying a rotational motion, and a Scotch yoke coupled to the motor for converting the rotational motion into a linear motion for moving the cover.
