摘要: A latching device (1) for vehicles capable of engaging with and disengaging from a rod-like portion (P1) to lock and unlock the latching device (1) includes: a casing (2) at least partly formed by a first member made of a first material and having an insertion groove (2A) for allowing the rod-like portion to be inserted thereinto; and a second member (latch (30) or reinforcement plate (20)) made of a second material and configured to contact the rod-like portion (P1). The second material has a higher specific gravity and a higher modulus of elasticity than the first material. For example, the first material is resin, whereas the second material is metal.

摘要: Provided is a vehicle seat by which an impact of rear end collision is reduced and of which peripheral structure of a side frame is simplified. A vehicle seat includes: a seat back frame which includes side portions positioned at the sides thereof, a pressure receiving member which is jointed to the seat back frame through joint members and supports an occupant, and an impact reduction member which is disposed on at least one of the side portions to engage with the joint member and to move by a predetermined amount of impact load applied to the pressure receiving member so that the pressure receiving member is caused to move rearward; in which the side portion includes a convex portion protruding in the movement range of the impact reduction member, and the impact reduction member abuts against the convex portion so that the movement of the impact reduction member is prevented.

摘要: A vehicle seat includes a seat back frame of a rectangular shape having a pair of side frames, upper and lower seat springs mounted between the side frames, and a flexible cushion plate in the form of a single plate attached to the seat springs. The cushion plate has a lower wide section supporting the vicinity of ilia (S) of a seated occupant (P), and a narrow middle section for reducing hold performance for the vicinity of a waist of the seated occupant (P). The cushion plate has an upper edge projecting slightly higher than a ninth dorsal vertebra (R) of the seated occupant (P).
