    摘要: The present invention provides a portable and compact battery-powered stereo speaker assembly that incorporates a DC to DC converter, which enables power from the internal stereo speaker assembly battery to charge an interconnected hand-held device, such as a smartphone, through a USB connection, thereby extending the time that the device can be used untethered from the AC power grid. A DC to DC converter enables the charging function can be implemented even if the speaker assembly is not connected to the AC power grid, and even if the battery of the stereo speaker assembly is not fully charged. The stereo speaker assembly also incorporates Bluetooth connectivity, a proprietary open wireless technology standard, developed by Ericsson in 1994, employing frequency-hopping spread spectrum radio transmissions in the ISM band from 2400-2480 MHz.

    摘要: Rechargeable wireless earphone systems and charging cases are disclosed. The rechargeable charging case, which doubles as a storage case for the earphone components, includes externally accessible charging ports adapted to charge the rechargeable battery contained therein as well as for charging other electronic devices. The earphones are configured such that they may be used even when charging or when the earphone system battery is depleted. An alignment and positioning mechanism is provided to align and electrically connect charging contacts of a controller housing of the earphone system with charging contacts provided in the charging case to better secure and facilitate the charging process when the controller is received within the charging case. Reversibly detachable ear hooks and ear canal plugs are uniquely designed and configured to be independently attached to the earphone housing and compliantly adjustable to the desired shape for user comfort. The ear hooks and plugs may be configured such that the ear hooks at least partially encircle the ear plugs when both are attached to the earphone housing and either the ear hooks and/or ear plugs may be detachable from the earphone without removal of the other. Illuminated ear hooks and cable are also disclosed.

    摘要: A portable speaker and protective cover for a portable wireless speaker and speaker system is disclosed. The protective cover is configured to receive, retain, cover, protect, and interactively support the portable wireless speaker. A plurality of embedded magnets and/or metallic elements in the speaker and cover are configured and aligned to magnetically secure the protective cover around the portable wireless speaker in the fully closed position and facilitate secure positioning of the speaker in a stand position during use. Other audio, video and computing electronics including tablet and smart phones may also be similarly protected and supported by such a cover configured to the particular dimensions of the electronic device.

The perimeter portion of the passive radiator is sandwiched between the speaker chassis and the retention gasket that resides between an external overlying perforated cover to firmly secure the passive radiator. The construction is capable of being well suited to enhance and improve integrity to the seal between the passive radiator and the speaker chassis in strenuous environment conditions such as when a speaker is submerged in water.
