Abstract: A removable dental appliance that includes an appliance body configured to at least partially surround a plurality of teeth of a dental arch of a patient. The appliance body including a first and second shell shaped to receive a first and second respective tooth; and at least one jumper including an elongated structure having a first end coupled to the first shell and a second end coupled to the second shell. The at least one jumper is configured to apply a force between the first and second shells to cause a movement of at least one of the first and second teeth toward a desired position when the removable dental appliance is worn by the patient.
