Abstract: A battery-powered wireless electronic device includes a housing defining an interior space including a battery compartment in which one or more batteries are removably mounted. A wireless transmitter is positioned within the interior space of the housing and is electrically connected to obtain power from the one or more batteries for transmitting a wireless signal. A connector is disposed on the housing for releasably connecting the battery-powered wireless electronic device to a wall mount that is fixedly mounted at least partially inside of the wall.

Abstract: A sensor that that can be, but do not have to be, communicatively coupled with luminaires, includes a sensor module having an electronics board and a battery enclosure. The electronics board includes a sensing component, a controller, and a flex antenna. The battery enclosure is couple with the electronics board and includes a base and a side wall having an outer wall surface. The flex antenna is supported on the outer wall surface such that the flex antenna forms a radially outermost portion of the sensor module, and the flex antenna is conformable to a profile of the outer wall surface. In certain aspects, the sensor module is configured to support a power source on the sensor module. In some cases, the sensor is an indoor sensor.

Abstract: A wall plate and system for covering an electrical component in an electrical box. The wall plate includes a base plate having a central aperture, and two trim pieces that join at the sides of the base plate to complete the wall plate. The base plate may include two side edges and wing portions extending from the side edges, and the trim pieces slide onto the respective side wing portions. The trim pieces may have features to engage a mounting plate attached to the electrical box or the electrical component, to capture the wall plate over the electrical box. A locking mechanism may be provided to lock the trim pieces in their inward positions against the base plate. The wall plate may be attachable without the use of tools or fasteners.
