    Abstract: To provide an optical filter having shielding effects against near ultraviolet rays and near infrared rays. An optical filter comprising a transparent resin body having a single layer or multilayer structure, and containing a near ultraviolet absorbing dye (U) which is a compound represented by the following formula (U) and which has an absorption maximum at a wavelength of from 370 to 425 nm and has a molar absorptivity at the maximum absorption wavelength of at least 50,000 [L/(mol·cm)], and a near infrared absorbing dye (A) which has an absorption maximum at a wavelength of from 600 to 800 nm: In the formula (U), Y is an oxygen atom, a methylene group or a dimethylene group, R1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent, or the like, R2 to R5 are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or the like, and X is a bivalent group represented by any one of the formulae (X1) to (X5) or the like.

    Abstract: Provided is an optical filter, which includes a light-absorbing layer and a light-reflecting layer and satisfies the following requirements: (i) in a spectral transmittance curve at an incident angle of 0°, an average transmittance over the 430-620 nm wavelength range is ≥80%, an average transmittance over the 430-450 nm wavelength range is ≥76%, an average transmittance over the 735-1100 nm wavelength range is ≤5%, and an average transmittance over the 350-395 nm wavelength is ≤5%; and (ii) there is a wavelength λ0(UV) with transmittance of 50% in the 400-425 nm wavelength range in the spectral transmittance curve at the incident angle of 0°, there is a wavelength λ30(UV) with transmittance of 50% in the 400-425 nm wavelength range in a spectral transmittance curve at an incident angle of 30°, and an absolute value of a difference between the wavelengths, |λ0(UV)−λ30(UV),| is ≤5 nm.

    Abstract: An optical filter includes: an absorption layer containing a first near-infrared absorbent having a maximum absorption in a wavelength of 660 to 785 nm, and satisfying (i-1) in 620 to 670 nm, on a shorter wavelength side of a wavelength λ (DA_Tmin) exhibiting the maximum absorption, there is a wavelength λSh (DA_T50%) at which a transmittance becomes 50%; and a reflection layer formed of a dielectric multilayered film satisfying (ii-1) in 670 to 1200 nm, there is a near-infrared reflection band in which a transmittance with respect to light at an incident angle of 0° becomes 50% or less, and a wavelength λSh (A2_Ts50%) at which a transmittance of light of an s polarization component out of light at an incident angle of 30° becomes 50%, on a shorter wavelength side of the near-infrared reflection band, is positioned on a longer wavelength side of the wavelength λSh (DA_T50%).
