摘要： Candida lipolytica produces a protease intracellularly and particularly in a culture medium on which the micro-organism is grown. The enzyme may be recovered from the medium by conventional methods or the cell free medium may be contacted with the protein to be hydrolyzed. Alternatively, the protein may be contacted with live cells of the micro-organism in an aqueous medium.
