Abstract: The invention relates to a sealing system for sealing between a first component and a second component wherein at least one or either the first component or the second component is a rotating component. The first component has a circumferential groove in which a sealing segment has first and fifth end portions adjacent the groove and second, third and fourth portions that form a U shape that mirrors the shape of and extends into the circumferential groove.
