Abstract:
An improved lighting control system, method, and terminal is disclosed. A lighting control system includes a plurality of lighting devices and at least one terminal. Lighting devices include a state retainer that retains the state of its own device, a lighting identifier retainer that retains the identifier of its own device, a control instruction detector that detects a control instruction issued to its own device and updates the state retained in the state retainer into a state in accordance with the control instruction, a light emitter that emits light according to the state retained in the state retainer, and a response signal transmitter that transmits a response signal, which contains the state retained in the state retainer and the identifier retained in the lighting identifier retainer. These and other embodiments and details, as well as embodiments and details of the terminal, are more fully disclosed herein.
Abstract:
The present invention reduces the influence of stuck processing having occurred in an overall data communication system. Data generated by a generation section of a first apparatus is transmitted by a transmission section to a second apparatus at a predetermined transmission rate. A processing section of the second apparatus processes the data received. A processing speed calculation section of the second apparatus calculates a processing speed at which the data is processed in the processing section. A notification section of the second apparatus notifies the first apparatus of the processing speed. A rate setting section of the first apparatus calculates a proper rate for transmitting the data to the second apparatus on the basis of a data processing speed in the second apparatus and performs setup so as to transmit the data to the second apparatus at the proper rate.
Abstract:
A code for authentication is shared between or among a plurality of transmitting devices or a plurality of receiving devices in a transmit/receive system which implements authentication using a code between transmitting and receiving devices. Each transmitting device includes a variable code retaining unit, a control signal transmitting unit, a variable code updating unit, and a unit for transmitting variable code for synchronization. The variable code retaining unit retains a variable code. The control signal transmitting unit transmits a control signal including a variable code. The variable code updating unit updates the variable code after transmission of the control signal. The unit for transmitting variable code for synchronization transmits the updated variable code to other transmitting devices of the plurality of transmitting devices to allow the other transmitting devices to set such code as the latest variable code.
