    Abstract: An overhead grid assembly for a suspended ceiling system and a bracket member thereof. The overhead grid assembly may include first and second support members having first and second longitudinal axes that are arranged in an intersecting manner to form a grid. The bracket member may include a first part having a first channel and a second part having a second channel. The bracket member is arranged to maintain the first and second support members in a desirable orientation relative to each other. Thus, a portion of the first support member may nest within the first channel and a portion of the second support member may nest within the second channel. The first and second parts of the bracket assembly may be rotatable relative to one another to ensure that the bracket assembly can be coupled to the first and second support members regardless of their relative orientation.

    Abstract: Described herein is a method for mounting a grid hanger assembly of a ceiling system. The ceiling system, in one embodiment, includes a grid support member, ceiling panel, and grid hanger configured to support the grid support member in a suspended manner from an overhead structural support. The grid hanger includes a mounting bracket configured for attachment to the structural support and a hanger member. The hanger member is adjustable in a plurality of selectable mounting positions relative to the mounting bracket, thereby allowing the mounted height of the grid support member to be adjusted in the field. In some embodiments, the hanger member is further angularly adjustable relative to the mounting bracket to avoid installation obstacles.

    Abstract: A grid hanger assembly for mounting a ceiling system to an overhead support structure. The grid hanger assembly may include a mounting bracket having a mounting element and being configured for attachment to the overhead support structure and a hanger member. The hanger member may include an adjustment plate and a coupling member extending from the adjustment plate. The adjustment plate may include a plurality of mounting elements arranged in an axially spaced apart manner. The hanger may be mounted to the mounting bracket in a selected mounting position of a plurality of selectable mounting positions determined by sliding the hanger member relative to the mounting bracket in a direction of the vertical axis until a selected one of the plurality of mounting elements of the hanger member is aligned with the mounting element of the mounting bracket. A fastener may lock the hanger member to the mounting bracket.

    Abstract: A panel assembly for a suspended ceiling system, an adjustable corner bracket thereof, and a method of assembling such a panel assembly. The panel assembly may include a ceiling panel having a groove in its rear surface, a plurality of suspension bars disposed within the groove along the sides thereof, and a plurality of corner brackets disposed within the groove along the corners thereof. The corner brackets may include a first arm portion extending along a first arm axis and a second arm portion extending along a second arm axis. The corner brackets may be adjustable to alter an angle measured between the first and second arm axes so that the corner brackets may be used in different grooves having different shapes.
