Abstract: A dynamically configurable antenna is integrated into a system configured to transmit and receive data. Antenna control software and/or hardware configures the antenna to transmit and receive data with different operating characteristics, depending on the communication needs of the system. The physical structure of the dynamically configurable antenna can be modified in order to perform data communications with specific frequency ranges, directionalities, transmission and/or amplification powers, and other operating characteristics generally associated with wireless RF communication.
