Abstract:
A luggage system includes a luggage compartment having a base body and a flap which is movable between a closed position and an open position and is configured to make accessible or close an interior space of the base body. The flap includes a first flap element facing the interior space of the base body and a second flap element facing away from the interior space of the base body, wherein an installation space for components which are to be installed in the region of the luggage compartment is provided between the first and the second flap element.
Abstract:
An aircraft monument for installation in an aircraft cabin including a first functional module, the first functional module including a side wall for delimiting the first functional module from a region of the aircraft cabin adjacent to the first functional module and/or from a region of the aircraft monument adjacent to the first functional module. The side wall is movable between a first and a second operational position and comprises a side-wall region which merely in the second operational position of the side wall serves for delimiting the first functional module from a region of the aircraft cabin adjacent to the first functional module, so that a movement of the side wall out of its first operational position into its second operational position results in an enlargement of a base area of the first functional module.
Abstract:
An aircraft monument for installation in an aircraft cabin comprising a sanitary module. The sanitary module comprises a toilet which is adapted to be used as a sanitary facility for passengers when an aircraft equipped with the aircraft monument is in cruising flight. The toilet is further adapted to be used as a flight attendant seat if necessary. The aircraft monument also comprises a door opening which is adapted, when the aircraft monument is installed in an aircraft, to give a person sitting on the toilet which is being used as a flight attendant seat an unimpeded view of an area of the aircraft cabin which is arranged in front of the aircraft monument in the direction of viewing of the person sitting on the toilet which is being used as a flight attendant seat.
Abstract:
A system for mounting aircraft system components in the crown area of an aircraft comprising a first longitudinal carrier element, a second longitudinal carrier element and a bridging element which connects the first longitudinal carrier element to the second longitudinal carrier element. The system is mountable in the crown area of an aircraft in such a way that the first and the second longitudinal carrier elements extend substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. A plurality of cable ducts for accommodating electrical lines is provided on the first and/or the second longitudinal carrier elements.
Abstract:
An aircraft monument for installation in an aircraft cabin comprising a first functional module, a second functional module and a side wall for delimiting the first module from at least one of a region of the aircraft cabin adjacent to the first module and a region of the aircraft monument adjacent to the first module. The side wall is movable between a first and a second operational position and comprises a first side-wall region separating the first and second functional modules and in the second operational position, the side wall is displaced in the direction of the second module relative to its position in the first operational position, so that a movement of the side wall from its first operational position into its second operational position results in an enlargement of a base area of the first module and a corresponding diminution of a base area of the second module.
Abstract:
An aircraft area comprises at least one main aisle which extends along a longitudinal axis of an aircraft cabin, a door aisle which extends, substantially perpendicularly to the at least one main aisle, along a transverse axis of the aircraft cabin between a first and a second aircraft door, and an aircraft monument which is arranged substantially centrally in the door aisle.
Abstract:
An aircraft interior door assembly (10, 20, 30) for selectively increasing usable space within an aircraft lavatory (1) adjacent a passenger doorway area (2) of the aircraft or in the passenger doorway area (2) adjacent the lavatory (1) comprises a door element (12, 22, 32) and a door element supporting structure (13, 23, 33). The door element (12, 22, 32) is rotatably mounted to the door element supporting structure (13, 23, 33) so as to be at least rotatable between first and second closed positions relative to the door element supporting structure (13, 23, 33). The door element (12, 22, 32) has the same configuration in both of its closed positions. A door rotation space which is encompassed by the door element (12, 22, 32) when positioned in its first and second closed positions or rotated through by the door element (12, 22, 32) when rotated between its first and second closed positions is part of the aircraft lavatory interior space, when the door element (12, 22, 32) is in its first closed position, and is part of the passenger doorway area (2), when the door element (12, 22, 32) is in its second closed position.
Abstract:
A separating device for separating two zones of a passenger cabin equipped with overhead luggage bins comprising a movable shell comprising a curtain element made of a flexible material and being dimensioned and shaped so as to be capable of at least partially covering an area extending below an overhead luggage bin with its movable shell being in its closed position in a direction substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the overhead luggage bin. The curtain element has a first edge adapted to face the movable shell of the overhead luggage bin when the separating device is mounted in the passenger cabin. The separating device further comprises a holder supporting a first end of the first edge of the curtain element and a fixing device adapted to fix a second end of the first edge of the curtain element to the movable shell of the overhead luggage bin.
Abstract:
A security door comprises a frame structure, having a lateral surface in which a plurality of doorways are constructed. A first doorway has a first width along an inner circumference of the frame structure, and lateral surface portions delimiting the first doorway in a first direction and a second direction, opposing the first direction, along the inner circumference of the frame structure have a second width. A lock element is received in the frame structure and comprises a first segment, movable along the frame structure inner circumference relative to the frame structure, and a second segment, movable independently of the first segment along the inner circumference relative to the frame structure. The first segment is dimensioned so that, in a position in which it closes the first doorway, it also closes a second doorway adjacent to the first doorway in the first direction along the frame structure inner circumference.
