摘要: There is provided a thermally bonded nonwoven fabric with a unit weight of 10 to 40 g/m.sup.2, comprising 20 to 100% by weight of a composite fiber with a fineness of 0.5 to 8 denier and 80 to 0% by weight of other fibers as the constituent fibers, the composite fiber comprising a first component which is an ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer composition comprising an ethylen-.alpha.-olefin copolymer containing 0.5 to 4% by weight of an .alpha.-olefin having 4 to 12 carbon atoms blended with 0.01 to 0.3% by weight of a phenol type antioxidant and 0.01 to 0.3% by weight of a sulfur type antioxidant, having a Q-value (weight average molecular weight/number average molecular weight) of 4 or less, a density of 0.930 to 0.950 g/cm.sup.3, a melt flow rate of 5 to 50 g/10 min. and an oxidation induction time at 210.degree. C. of 10 min. or longer, and a second component which is a thermoplastic resin having a melting point higher by at least 20.degree. C. than that of the first component, with a constitutional ratio (sectional area ratio) of the first component to the second component being 35:65 to 70:30, said first component of the composite fiber forming at least a proportion of the fiber surface continuously along the length of each fiber and adhering through melting mutually the constituent fibers.

摘要: There are provided an ophthalmic composition that comprises 3-hydroxybutyric acid and/or salts thereof as active ingredients and is used to prevent desiccation of eyes and an ophthalmic composition that is used to treat tear dysfunction. By use of the ophthalmic compositions of the present invention, desiccation of the eyes can be inhibited and tear dysfunction can be treated. Therefore, by use of the compositions, discomforts caused by tear dysfunction, such as desiccation of the eyes, foreign-body sensation, feeling of discomfort on the eyes and eye strain, can be improved. Further, the ophthalmic compositions of the present invention can inhibit diseases caused by tear dysfunction, exemplified by development of dry eye and suspected dry eye which are dysfunctions related to desiccation of the eyes, particularly, development of diseases caused by tear dysfunction without injuries on the keratoconjunctive.

摘要: A seedling planting apparatus includes a carriage, a seedling supply device, a seedling picker device for picking seedlings from the seedling supply device at a predetermined picking position, and a seedling planting device for receiving the seedling from the seedling picker device at a predetermined delivery position and planting them in a field, the seedling supply device including a frame for supporting a seedling tray formed with multiple cells in which seedlings are grown, a traverse feeding mechanism for moving the frame transversely so that a selected cell is located at the predetermined picking position, and a longitudinal feeding mechanism for logitudinally feeding the seedling tray pitch by pitch when the frame is moved to a right or left terminal position thereof, the seedling picker device including a pair of seedling picker claws for picking the seedling from the cell and delivering it to the seedling planting device, and a seedling picker driving mechanism for moving the seedling picker claws from the predetermined picking position to the predetermined delivery position, the seedling picker driving mechanism being arranged such that the seedling picker claws are inserted into the cell at the predetermined picking position with a space between the leading ends thereof being slightly narrowed than the width of the upper end of the cell, and after the seedling picker claws are inserted, the seedling can be gripped by narrowing the space between the leading ends of the seedling picker claws, and the space between the leading ends of the seedling picker claws is widened at the predetermined delivery position. The thus constituted seedling planting apparatus can effect proper planting of seedlings with a mechanism of simple structure.

摘要: A concrete filled steel tube column. The concrete filled steel tube column includes a steel tube having an inner face; a concrete core disposed within the steel tube; and a separating layer interposed between the inner face of the steel tube and the concrete core for separating the concrete core from the inner face of the steel tube so that the steel tube may not be bonded to the concrete core. After the separating layer is formed on the inner face of the steel tube, the concrete is charged into the steel tube to form a concrete core.
