    摘要: A quick connector including: (a) a tubular male element having an introduced end portion which has an extreme end portion and an annular protrusion portion; and (b) a tubular female element having a first receiving portion and a second receiving portion which have respective tubular shapes configured to receive therein the annular protrusion portion and the extreme end portion of the introduced end portion of the tubular male element, respectively. The first receiving portion has an elastically-deformable tongue portion which is defined by a U-shaped slot formed through the cylindrical wall of the first receiving portion. The tongue portion extends in a circumferential direction of the tubular female element, and has a free end portion which is displaceable in a radial direction of the tubular female member. An engaging protrusion portion is provided in the free end portion so as to protrude inwardly in the radial direction so as to be brought into engagement with the annular protrusion portion of the introduced end portion of the tubular male element in a snap action manner. The engaging protrusion portion preferably has a tapered guide surface in its inner surface.

An annular engaging projection of the pipe advances in the connector housing while spreading leg portions of the retainer outwardly. The connector comprises an upstream body component 9 having a valve housing 33 for housing a valve body 57; and an outlet component 35 formed integrally with the downstream valve housing component 33 in the downstream axial direction. The outlet component 35 is constructed with a cylindrical base 37 which forms an outlet passageway downstream of the embedded valve and includes a fitting component 39. The fitting component 39 is a downstream short extension of the cylindrical base 37 which extends along the longitudinal axis of the connector through the center length of second connector component 13. The fitting component 39 is part of the upstream portion of the cylindrical base 37. The outlet passageway 43 of outlet component 35 and the inside second connector component 13 communicate with each other through exit-orifice 45.

    摘要: This invention is a quick connector which has a connector housing including an upstream and downstream end with an opening at the downstream end and an outer circumference with a first and second radial end, a tube connection component provided upstream along the longitudinal axis of the housing; a pipe body having an insertion end adapted to be fully inserted into the connector housing from the downstream opening end; a retainer provided downstream along the axis of said connector housing; an annular protruding flange formed on said insertion end of said pipe body with said flange adapted to be snapped onto said retainer to connect said insertion end to said retainer; with said connector housing being configured in such a manner that a removable checker can be attached to said first radial end of the outer circumference; with the quick connector further comprising: a checking operation portion having a first end connected to the second radial end of the outer circumference of said connector housing and having a second end provided with a holding component such that rotary motion of said checking operation portion about said first end causes said holding component to connect with the outer circumference of said pipe body which is connected to said connector housing; such that if said pipe body is not fully inserted into said connector housing, said holding component cannot connect with the outer circumference of said pipe body.

    摘要: A connecting structure and method for affixing an open end of a tube composed from thermoplastic resin material(s) to a tube connecting portion of a quick connector having a cylindrical geometry and at least one annular stopper on the cylindrical outer circumference thereof with said tube connecting portion being adapted to be press fitted into said open end of said resin tube. The connecting structure comprises; an annular band composed of elastomeric rubber which surrounds the open end of said resin tube adjacent the location of attachment to said quick connector having a length at least equal to the diameter of the cylindrical outer circumference of the quick connector and a diameter such that a tightening force is applied to the resin tube upon press fitting said tube connecting portion into the open end of said resin tube to prevent disengagement therefrom. The connecting structure forms an integrated assembly with the tube connecting portion of the quick connector.
