Abstract: Systems and methods for assisting in the removal of a cataract from an eye can include obtaining pre-operative data for the eye, the pre-operative data including imaging data associated with the lens of the eye, determining a lens density map based on the imaging data associated with the lens, and generating laser fragmentation patterns for a laser fragmentation procedure based on the lens density map.
