摘要： The present invention relates to a method of screening for a modulator of endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) expression, a method of diagnosing a cardiovascular disease in a subject, the use of HEBP-1 for the identification of a medicament for preventing and/or treating a disease involving eNOS dysfunction, particularly a cardiovascular disease, the use of HEBP-1 for the detection of a component of eNOS signal transduction, and the use of HEBP1 for the regulation of eNOS promoter activity.
