摘要： A caulking gun for dispensing viscous material does not have any freeloop. A brake device is in the first and in the second position inclined relative to the axis of the push rod and a release device pushes the brake device in a third, essentially perpendicular position relative to the axis of the push rod in order to disengage the push rod from the brake device for pulling back the push rod and for acting simultaneously on the push device in order to disengage the push rod. Because the brake device is inclined in the first and in the second position due to the action of a spring acting on one end of the brake device and clamps the rod so that any freeloop (because the brake device does not clamp the rod in the upright position) is avoided.
