Abstract:
An interface ring which is the interface between a container and an applicator comprising a circular socket with a plurality of laterally extending protrusions, a cylindrical thread being arranged above the socket, a central cylindrical opening extending through the interface ring in the centre of the thread and the socket wherein the thread presents a plurality of interruptions extending axially from the socket to the upper end of the thread, the interruptions dividing the thread into thread portions. It is an object of the present invention to provide an optimized interface ring. In order to achieve this object, the interface ring comprises deformable vertical ribs laterally extending mostly parallel to the radial axis of the interface ring wherein the deformable ribs deform when the interface ring is mounted on the outer rim of the cup of a valve or by other means on to the container. An interface ring with an increased grip of the interface ring on the valve. Therefore, much higher turning and buckling forces can be reached.
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing gun for 1K-polyurethane foam includes a dispensing tube with a dosing nozzle at its outlet, a spring-loaded needle co-axially moveable in the dispensing tube for opening and closing the dosing nozzle, a trigger actuating the needle to open the nozzle and to dispense the fluid, a regulator regulating the degree of opening of the nozzle outlet and a coupler coupling a pressurized can to the gun. It also concerns a method for dispensing 1K-polyurethane foam. The fluid dispensing gun includes a delivery device delivering a curing fluid essentially parallel to the nozzle outlet that includes a curing fluid reservoir, a curing fluid outlet situated near the nozzle and a curing fluid line connecting the curing fluid reservoir and the curing fluid outlet, the trigger activating the delivery device. The curing fluid delivered in the same direction as the 1K-polyurethane foam and separately therefrom makes the foam cure more rapidly.
Abstract:
A caulking gun for dispensing material includes a stock, a cartridge keep, a push rod longitudinally moveably mounted in the stock with one end having a plunger engaging a cartridge piston in the cartridge keep, a catch on the rod, a trigger coupled to the catch via an axle and pivoting about a pivot point, and a device for varying thrust output exerted on the rod when pressing the trigger for a given strength exerted on the trigger that allows axle displacement between at least first and second positions. The trigger has an upper part with a trigger bridge with two long holes. The thrust output varying device includes a ratio bridge element put over the trigger bridge and trigger and linked to the trigger bridge via the axle traversing the holes. By displacing the axle either between fixed values or continuously and the thrust output can be varied between fixed values or continuously.
Abstract:
A basket for securing a container to a dispenser has a device for connecting the basket with the dispenser and a device for connecting the basket with the container and a cylindrical seat for a valve of the container, wherein the basket provides a fluid connection between the container and the dispenser, wherein the basket provides a grip area for mounting the basket on the dispenser. The grip area is located on the cylindrical seat. The location of the grip area on the cylindrical seat reduces the height of the basket and improves the handling of the dispenser.
Abstract:
A stem of a valve for a container for dispensing pressurized fluid, has an inner channel inside a cylindrical housing connecting the at least one lateral inlet opening at its lower end and an outlet opening at its upper end. The inner channel has a conical shape at its lower end and the diameter of the cylindrical housing is increased towards the lower end of the stem and in particular in the section which corresponds to the section with lateral inlet openings. Both adaptations reinforce the stem and make it more resilient against bending and tensile forces.
