Abstract: A multiband antenna for mobile devices that includes both energized and parasitically-coupled resonant elements. An energized element is fed radio frequency energy and resonates at a first frequency. A first parasitic element, arranged on a same surface as the energized element, is parasitically coupled to the energized element and resonates with at least a second frequency. A second parasitic element, arranged on a surface opposite the energized element resonates at a third frequency.
