Abstract:
A fastening device for a cupboard door, which includes a catch member that is slidable within a carriage, the catch member and the carriage being biassed outwardly by means of springs. A restraining member is displaceable into and out of engagement with the carriage to restrain displacement thereof, and has a projection for restraining it in engagement with the carriage. Both the restraining member and the projection are externally operable. The fastening device also includes a locking means having a bolt slidable in a housing which defines a blocking pin, a tumbler plate having an annular recess and a auxiliary plate having an H-shaped aperture, in which recess and aperture the pin is received. The plates engage the bolt and prevent displacement thereof unless the plates themselves are displaced relative to the pin.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a closure member in the form of a hollow tubular outlet member and a cap fitting over the outlet member and rotatable relative thereto, the outlet member and cap having complementary conical end portions, an aperture in each conical end portion which can be aligned to define an opening which can be closed by rotation of the cap and wherein the cap and outlet have a co-axial tubular portion, one of such tubular portions being provided with at least one formation directed towards the other tubular portion and co-operating with a cam surface on the said other tubular portion, said cam surface being shaped such that the conical end portions are urged axially into tighter engagement with each other during rotation of the cap to close the opening.
Abstract:
A dispensing device for use in dispensing measured quantities of fluent material through a resiliently compressible dispensing tube, the device comprising a housing having a tube zone for receiving a dispensing tube, collapsing apparatus adapted to be rotatably driven by drive apparatus relatively to a tube located in the tube zone to collapse the tube in a compression zone and to advance the compression zone along a compression arc to dispense fluent material through the tube, and adjustment apparatus for adjusting the effective length of the compression arc, the adjustment apparatus comprising an adjustable cam member to co-operate with the collapsing apparatus and control the effective length of a compression arc during a revolution of the collapsing apparatus.
Abstract:
A dispensing device for use in dispensing measured quantities of fluent material through a resiliently compressible dispensing tube, the device comprising a housing having a cartridge zone for receiving a cartridge having a dispensing tube associated therewith, collapsing structure adapted to be rotatably driven for collapsing a tube located in the cartridge zone in a compression zone, and drive structure for rotatably driving the collapsing structure to displace the compression zone along a compression arc to dispense fluent material through the tube. A dispensing kit comprising a dispensing device as described, a cartridge receivable in the cartridge zone, and a resiliently compressible dispensing tube associated with the cartridge, with the tube having its trailing end connected to a collapsible fluent material container, and having its leading end connected to a dispensing member. A fluent material pack comprising a cartridge receivable in a cartridge zone of a dispensing device, and a resiliently compressible dispensing tube associated with the cartridge; and a cartridge for use with the dispensing device, the cartridge being adapted to have a resiliently compressible dispensing tube associated therewith.
