摘要： A single-mode optical fibre for transmitting optical signals includes a central core region for guiding the optical signals, and a cladding region surrounding the core region and including a void-containing annular layer containing randomly distributed voids, wherein the void-containing layer is doped with fluorine at a concentration of less than 1 wt % and has a radial thickness equal to or smaller than 3 μm.
