Abstract: A system and method for generating interactive floor maps for displaying the layout of a retail store are provided. The interactive floor map can display the layout of a store based on events occurring in the future. If an event results in a change in the layout of the store, an employee of the store can preview the changes to the store as of the event date, prior to the occurrence of the event.
