    摘要： An image forming method, comprising steps of: forming a latent image on a photoreceptor having an electrically conductive support having thereon a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer; developing the latent image with a developer containing a toner to form a toner image on the photoreceptor; and transferring the toner image onto an image receiving member, wherein the ratio of 50% volume particle diameter to 50% number particle diameter of the toner is within the range of 1.0 to 1.15, the ratio of the cumulative 75% volume particle diameter from the largest particle diameter to the cumulative 75% number particle diameter from the largest particle diameter of the toner is 1.0 to 1.20 and the number of toner particles having a particle diameter of not larger than 0.7×Dp50 is at most 10% of the number of all the toner particles in the toner.

    摘要： An electrophotographic image forming method is disclosed. In the method each of a plurality of toner images formed on the latent image bearing body is sequentially onto an intermediate transfer body, and the transferred image on the intermediate transfer body is transferred to an image forming support, and fixed using a heating roller fixing system, and the toner satisfies ratio (Dv50/Dp50) is from 1.00 to 1.15; ratio (Dv75/Dp75) is from 1.00 to 1.20; and the content ratio of toner having a particle diameter of at most 0.7×(Dp50) is less than or equal to 10 percent by number. Dv50, Dp50, Dv75 and Dp75 are specified in the specification.

    摘要： Disclosed is an electrostatic image developing toner comprising a coloring agent and toner particles, said toner particles have a matrix-domain structure, and the average of the area of a Voronoi polygon formed by the perpendicular bisecting line between the centers of gravity of domains adjacent to each other in said matrix-domain structure is from 20,000 to 120,000 nm2, and the variation coefficient of the area of said Voronoi polygon is less than or equal to 25 percent. Color image having, particularly good transparency and excellent color difference, can be obtained by the toner which is not affected by a residual material present on the surface of toner particles and does not result in variation of the amount of static charge at high temperature as well as at high humidity or after long leaving without operation.

The arithmetic average of shape coefficient SF-1 of the toner particles calculated by Equation 1 is from 125 to 170 and a ratio of that to an arithmetic average of the shape coefficient SF-2 of the toner particles calculated by Equation 2, SF-1/SF-2, is from 1.10 to 1.52 and the ratio of the toner particles having a circle corresponding diameter measured by a flow particle image analyzer of from not less than 0.60 to less than 1.00 μm is not more than 5.0% in number. The image forming methods employing the toner are also disclosed.

    摘要： An image forming method by developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor to form a toner image employing a developer comprising toner, transferring the toner image onto an image forming material, and fixing the transferred toner image employing a fixing unit, is disclosed. The fixing unit is comprised of a heating roller and a pressure roller which is brought into contact with said heating roller, the heating roller is constituted of a cylinder having an interior diameter of from 10 to 70 mm and a wall thickness of from 0.1 to 2 mm comprised of a metal or a metal alloy, and a heating member being incorporated in the interior, a surface of the cylinder being covered with an elastic martial having an Asker hardness C of less than 70 degrees at a thickness of 0.1 to 30 mm, and the pressure roller is constituted of a metal cylinder whose surface is covered with an elastic material having an Asker hardness C of less than 80 degrees at a thickness of from 0.1 to 30 mm.
