Abstract: PROBLEM
An object is to provide an airbag device enabling reliably covering an appropriate range with a cushion and increasing occupant protection performance while ensuring suitable deployment behavior at a position a tab is attached.
RESOLUTION MEANS
An airbag device 100 comprising: a cushion 102 that is rolled and stowed at an upper part of a side surface in a vehicle cabin and expands and deploys along the side surface, an inflator 104 that is inserted in the cushion and provides gas to the cushion, and a tab 130 for suspending the cushion from the upper part of the side surface, wherein the cushion includes: a duct 144 provided with a tab extending in the front-to-back direction of the vehicle at the upper part of the side surface and that expands and deploys due to inflow of gas, a main chamber 146 positioned below the duct, and a sub chamber 148 provided at the upper part of the side surface, the upper end 172 of the sub chamber is positioned above the upper edge 158 of the side window 118, and the lower end 174 of the sub chamber is positioned below the upper end 160 of the duct.
