摘要: A system may include a surface, a pocket member, and spring members. The pocket member may have a top portion, a bottom portion, an exterior side, and an interior side. Each spring member may be positioned vertically between the surface and the interior side of the pocket member. Each spring member may have a spring top portion and a spring bottom portion. Each of the spring top portions may be attached to the top portion of the pocket member. Each of the spring bottom portions may be attached to the surface at a location corresponding to a vertical position of the bottom portion of the pocket member. The surface, the pocket member, and the spring members may form a pocket configured to at a given time be one of: open at the top portion of the pocket member, open at the bottom portion of the pocket member, or closed.

摘要: A dress cover installable over a seatback of a passenger seat and having an integrated adjustable lumbar support device is disclosed. In embodiments, the dress cover includes a fabric outer shell and a seat cushion within the outer shell. The lumbar support device is disposed inside a pocket set into the dress cover and corresponding to the lumbar area of the seat occupant. The pocket extends laterally between left-side and right-side slots, each slot held closed by a zipper within which a slider tracks up and down to adjust the lumbar support device. As the slider tracks along the zipper it opens and closes the zipper within the body of the slider, maintaining its slot in a closed configuration. By adjusting the sliders up or down, the occupant may adjust the position of the lumbar support device through the dress cover.

摘要: A compressible cushion may include a base structure and a plurality of foam layers positioned on a seat pan of the aircraft seat. The plurality of foam layers may include a first foam layer stacked on the base structure, and at least a second foam layer stacked on the first foam layer. A density of the at least a second foam layer may be less than a density of the first foam layer. The first foam layer and the at least a second foam layer may be cut at a length corresponding to a length of the seat pan when in an extended position. The first foam layer and the at least a second foam layer each may include a plurality of cuts, which may be configured to compress when the seat pan actuates between the extended position and a retracted position.
